The 5th TIMITAR FESTIVAL

TIMITAR FESTIVAL celebrates its fifth anniversary - Born of a desire to open the Amazigh culture on other world cultures, the event has succeeded over the editions to forge an identity as a crossroads with 800,000 spectators last year

Some of the world best known artists will be taking part in the TIMITAR 2008: Youssou N'Door, Marcel Khalifa, Alpha Blondy, Cheb Khaled, Rokia Traoré, Najat Âatabou, Lamchaheb, Idir, Salif Keita, Oulad el Bouazzaoui…

The public will have the choice between concerts and various scenes of the festival. The musicians of the new generation of world music will also be honoured to meet the tastes of the youngest. On the menu of this section, there are bands such as: Maalesh (Comoros Islands), Nigerians of Etran Finatawa, Moroccans of Fèz City Clan, Rap 2 bled, Amarg merger and Darga….
